New Tee Design for Contact Helpline
Contact Helpline hired The Visible Group to design & print their new t-shirts. They were looking for a fairly conservative design yet something that would communicate their message in a more culturally appropriate manner. They have a wonderful ministry but haven't reached their potential & need to spread the news about their services. Just listen to their message: "Offering hope by means of active listening to a community in need of being heard." Isn't that great! Under their new leadership, Scott Packett, they are breaking traditional molds & pursuing a community in need. We are excited about helping support this great organization.
Below is the t-shirt design draft, see for yourself:
Btw: If you have shirt ideas that you need fleshed out, let us know. We love a good tee-shirt!!!!

Album Cover Game (You Won't Believe my Results!)
My results were way too funny not to post! TKenny found this idea at the CMD+Shift Design blog via twitter and thought I would give it a go. First, what is the ‘Your Album Cover’ game? Instructions below:
- Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. - Go to http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. - Go to http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. - Use Photoshop (or something else!) to put it all together.
- Post a link to it and share with your friends!

This is a wedding invitation that I have been working on for a couple that came to me wanting me to design something special and unique for them. I met with the bride-to-be a few times to get an idea of the type of modern style she was looking for. The invitations turned out great and the client was very happy with the outcome of this project.

Legacy Academy
Legacy Academy, a new Christ-centered Classical School is being launched in our area. They hired The Visible Group to do their branding which includes & will incorporate: logo, stationery, brochure, presentation folders, business cards, website, & apparel design. They wanted their logo to have the feel of classical education (hence the crest) but yet a modern take on the elements of the crest & a new look for the LA lettering. Here is a peek at the final logo design.

Our studios
I love to see where people work. So... I thought I would share a few pics of our studio here at The Visible Group. We are located in a national historic building called the Samuel Cleage house. It was originally constructed in 1823. But, of course, the inside has been totally revamped & looks great. Feel free to stop by sometime at 208 N. Jackson St., Athens, TN. We would love to see pics of the place you work, send them over to ben@thevisiblegroup.net.

New Clearwater BC Website Launch!
We were stoked to see Clearwater BC's site launch on Saturday. We custom designed Clearwater's website & built it upon our robust CMS (Content Management System). They needed a few different custom features & with our add-on package, we were able to integrate some useful tools. Go stop by the site! It looks great.

Taking Care of Business
Natalie Grant Posters
The Athens Chamber of Commerce hired The Visible Group to create the posters & flyers for the upcoming Natalie Grant concert. They provided us with a picture of Natalie Grant & we unleashed the creative juices. The buzz around town has been very positive. What do you think? Click on the image to enlarge it.

Logo Spotlight: Sledge & Dalton
Jeremy Dalton of Sledge & Dalton Lawncare came by a few months ago to show off the logo we designed for him after having it embroidered on his jacket. They were really excited about the final product & have had many people talking about it. We took a picture of both Sledge & Dalton and we manipulated it to make a logo element; we thought Jeremy's beard was way too cool not to incorporate in the design.

Website Spotlight: Total Focus Vitamins

We recently had the opportunity to provide a custom CMS website solution for a nutraceutical company, Total Focus Vitamins, Inc. We worked closely with their project lead & provided a very cost efficient solution that met their needs. Overall, we were very pleased with the finished product. Special thanks to our web development partner, David, who went the extra mile to design a great solution that would compliment Total Focus's budget. Check it out for yourself! Click here.
